Transportation of milk and its products. Storage and transportation of milk Requirements for the transportation of dairy products and perishable goods

Milkis the most demanding drinking product. Although the time and conditions for its transportation are not indicated anywhere, any delay or inattention can lead to irretrievable loss of the entire shipment. Therefore, transportation of milk requires special control over compliance with all necessary rules and regulations.

Transportation of milk by road in tank trucks:

  1. Fast delivery of milk in a tanker truck. The sooner the product reaches the final destination, the longer it can be sold, maintaining its freshness.
  2. Maintaining microclimate in milk tanks. To preserve the freshness of milk for a long time and protect it from the influence of external conditions in the summer, all milk tanks are equipped with a thick insulating layer, due to which temperature changes per day do not exceed 2-3°C. All tank semi-trailers are made of food grade stainless steel.
  3. Compliance with sanitary standards and consistency of work. Before loading, all milk tankers undergo thorough washing and disinfection, and when changing the product being transported, additional steaming and disinfection are mandatory. All drivers, in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, must carry sanitary books with marks on passing the relevant medical examinations.

As one of the most capricious products, milk requires a special approach during transportation - this includes high delivery speed, strict maintenance of the microclimate in containers and a clear definition of the route. And most importantly, the transportation of milk is carried out with coordinated actions and careful adherence to sanitary standards.

The milk tanker truck is designed to transport chilled milk from dairy farms, separator and receiving points to milk processing plants.Modern heat-insulating tanks meet all quality standards. A non-autonomous vacuum system, a thermal insulation layer and stainless steel from which the containers are made are a guarantee that the transportation of milk will be carried out at the highest level.

Due to the fact that high-quality thermal insulation is installed on the milk tanker, only the temperature required for transportation can be created inside the tank. This allows you to keep milk fresh enough for up to ten hours and even when the ambient temperature reaches +35 degrees Celsius.Milk tankers also have their own characteristics. Considering that this technique is used to deliver milk to its destination, where it will be processed, but also to places of direct sales, a special sensor is installed in it to monitor the liquid level, which makes it more convenient to issue the goods to customers.

Some milk tankers have other features. For example, a tank can be divided inside into special compartments, and thanks to this, milk can be poured through separate hatches into fenced-off hatches.Food tankers for transporting milk must be equipped with special equipment that allows maintaining an appropriate microclimate with minimal temperature changes (usually heat loss does not exceed 2-3 degrees per day). Milk is transported by specialized vehicles in accordance with the rules for the transportation of perishable goods in force for this type of transport.

  • Thermal insulation of the tank does not allow the milk temperature to change by more than 2°C when the temperature difference between the milk and the environment is 30±2°C for 10 hours;
  • The tank can be filled by stationary centrifugal pumps installed at the milk collection site;
  • To control the maximum permissible volume when filling, the tanks have a circular line in the neck;
  • Parts and assemblies of tanks that come into contact with the product are made of materials approved by the Ministry of Health;
  • The internal body of the tank is made of food grade stainless steel;
  • For ease of maintenance, the tank is equipped with sides, which are a welded structure and have corrugations.
  • The outside of the tank is lined with thin-sheet low-carbon steel coated with paint. The space between the buildings is filled with heat-insulating material FRP-1;
  • To protect the product, tank trucks can be equipped with heat-insulated hatches with dust-proof caps, which ensure that special requirements for product preservation are met and allow the tanks to be washed and disinfected;
  • Milk pipeline sections are located in the rear part of the tank (they are additionally protected from dust and dirt).

Milk is transported in tanks for food liquids in accordance with GOST 9218, metal flasks in accordance with GOST 5037 and other types of containers approved by the health authorities of the Russian Federation for contact with milk and dairy products. The container lids are sealed tightly. The locking devices of the lids are sealed with seals in accordance with GOST 18677.Milk is transported at a temperature of 2 °C to 8 °C for no more than 12 hours. If transportation modes are violated, the milk is classified as off-grade. Milk is stored at the donor at a temperature of (4±2)°C for no more than 24 hours. When delivering it to dairy industry enterprises, the temperature of the milk should not exceed 8 °C.

As a rule, the terms for transporting milk are not specified anywhere, but delays in transit lead to souring of the milk, which will make it unsuitable for processing. In addition to transporting chilled raw milk, milk tankers can transport concentrated, condensed milk in bulk in tank trucks.A special place is occupied by the transportation of condensed cream. In order to carry out such transportation, it is necessary to fill the sections in a certain way (under the “lid”) so as not to whip the cream into the butter during transportation. Therefore, all sections must be calibrated, and loading by sections must be previously agreed upon with the sending plant.

Transportation of milk and dairy products: features

Since milk is a perishable product that requires delicate handling of storage and transportation, vehicles undergo special training before leaving. All our vehicles have a sanitary passport, and our drivers have a sanitary book. Tanks that transport cargo undergo disinfection after each discharge, which is noted in the sanitary passport, and then sealed.

Milk and most dairy products have a short shelf life, which means that their delivery must be taken as seriously as possible. Timely delivery of dairy products is one of the important activities of our company. We deliver products from the manufacturer or from the base to stores and catering establishments. Our company is ready to enter into an agreement for the regular transportation of milk and dairy products throughout Moscow and the Moscow region.

We transport:

  • milk and cream;
  • a variety of packaged milk drinks (kefir, fermented baked milk, etc.);
  • sour cream;
  • cottage cheese and curd products;
  • butter;
  • canned milk containing milk.

At the same time, both general transport rules and legal requirements regarding the delivery of dairy products are observed.

Transportation of dairy products: main features

Transportation of this type of goods is regulated by Federal Law No. 88-F3 “Technical Regulations for Milk and Dairy Products”. In particular, they establish temperature conditions that must be observed when transporting various products.

Transporting milk and dairy products requires careful handling of the trucks used for this. All vehicles receive a sanitary passport, and the drivers who drive them receive a sanitary book. Documents are updated promptly.

Milk is a perishable product, so it must be delivered as quickly as possible. Therefore, our company’s specialists develop optimal routes, and drivers follow them exactly. This saves time. If there is a traffic jam on the road, the driver uses detours to meet the deadline or, in extreme cases, reduce the delay to a minimum.

According to the current rules, from April to September, milk from downstream factories is allowed to be transported at a temperature no higher than +6°, in other months - no higher than +2°. When delivering from the factory to shops or catering establishments, a temperature of no more than +8° is allowed. We follow these requirements impeccably.

Main types of vehicles for transporting dairy products

There are two main ways to deliver milk:

  • by bulk method - without the use of containers, in special tank cars;
  • using containers - in isothermal vans or refrigerated trucks.

Dairy products are transported by container method. Cottage cheese and curd products, cheese, butter, and dairy drinks are usually transported in original packaging, placing them in boxes. Sour cream can be delivered both in packaging and in flasks.

Small batches of hard cheeses can be delivered by regular truck.
An isothermal van is a vehicle with a closed body, the walls of which are made of sandwich panels or filled with expanded polystyrene. A stable temperature regime is maintained inside its cargo compartment, which depends on the class of the van:

  • A - maintains a temperature inside the body of +12° and up to 0°;
  • B - maintains temperature +12° and up to −10°;
  • C - maintains a temperature inside the body of +12° and up to −20°.

We will help you choose the transport that is optimal for transporting milk and dairy products.
A refrigerator, unlike an isothermal van, allows you to choose the required temperature regime. For this purpose, refrigeration equipment is installed in it. Refrigerated trucks are usually used to transport dairy products, especially perishable products, over quite long distances.

Transportation of dairy products and milk is a serious task that both the carrier and the customer will have to solve. In solving this problem, it is necessary to comply with strict rules for transporting food of this type.

Milk and dairy products contain as much calcium as no other food product, which in turn is perfectly absorbed by our body. In addition to calcium, milk contains a lot of other vitamins, micro and macroelements.

It is worth noting that all dairy products belong to the perishable group. Accordingly, they have a short shelf life and transportation, plus they require compliance with transportation rules to ensure the safety of the delivered goods for the health of customers. Therefore, this type of product needs to be delivered promptly and quickly!

The group of dairy products includes: kefir, yogurt, sour cream, cream, butter, cottage cheese, cheese and other products.

Our company provides transportation and delivery services for all kinds of cargo, including milk and dairy products. We have behind us not only experience and our own fleet of vehicles, but also strong, trustworthy relationships with partner carriers. All this allows our company to not only deliver milk and dairy products on time, but also offer effective, further, long-term cooperation.
