They don’t need society, but society can’t do without them. After all, you can’t buy a real one, and from the “fourth grade” students, carrying such a product is not carrying it, carrying it is not transporting it.

It is absolutely true that talented people are talented in everything. Excellent memory and developed intuition make those with the fourth blood group excellent scientists. Introduction

Interest in blood types grew in Japan as a reaction to Western racism. Western scientists have found that the third blood type is more common in Asia and rare among white Europeans. Since the third blood group is typical for animals, they believed that Asians were worse and at a lower stage of development. Japanese scientists were inclined to refute this theory, the debate continued and, as a result, popular science emerged. According to Furukawa Takeji (1891–1940), who worked in high school administration, there is a connection between a person’s blood type and temperament. According to his observations, people with the second blood group (Type A) usually have a calm disposition and are intellectuals, while those with the third blood group (Type B) are the opposite. Father and son Masahiko and Toshitaka Nomi, having conducted many studies on the psychology of blood types, noted that blood type affects every aspect of our lives, including relationships, work and leisure. For example, some Japanese companies, basketball team coaches select employees and team members according to their blood type. According to rumors, during World War II, the Imperial Japanese Army was formed into units according to blood type. Even for teaching children in kindergartens, they are divided into subgroups according to their blood type, and then different teaching techniques are used depending on the subgroup. The Japanese also use this technique in marriage agencies, as they believe that it increases the likelihood of marriage. After it was first suggested that blood type influenced individual qualities, in 1930 a new column appeared on job applications to assess the applicant's temperament. Even today in Japan, daily forecasts on this problem are broadcast on TV in the morning. When meeting people, the Japanese specify their blood type, just as Europeans are interested in the zodiac sign of a new acquaintance. A simple idea proposed by Furukawa Takeshi has grown into an entire industry; now you can buy chewing gum, soft drinks, calendars and even condoms for a certain blood type.

Most of the population in Europe and America has blood of the first (Type O) or second (Type A) group, and only a small part of them has blood of the third group (Type B), and even less - the fourth (Type AB). This may be why the typology of personalities based on blood type was not widespread outside Japan in the past. It is interesting that 90% of Japanese know their blood type, while Europeans and Americans are not only unaware of the phenomenon of personality typology by blood group, but often simply do not know their blood type.

Relevance of the topic.

A person's blood type does not depend on race, gender or age. Every person should know their blood type. It is inherited and remains unchanged until the end of life. To some extent, it predetermines our inclinations, character and attachments. All this was confirmed by studies of more than a million residents of the Japanese islands. Therefore, we consider the topic of our research to be relevant.

Object of study.

Students of West Kazakhstan Medical College

The total number of respondents was 100 people.

Age of respondents: 17-25 years.

Hypothesis. There is a dependence of the characteristics of a person’s character and his health on the person’s blood type.

Target.

1. Identify the relationship between health and human blood type.
2. Trace the dependence of a person’s character on his blood type.
3. Determine the influence of blood type on human intelligence.
4. Reiterate the importance of each person knowing their blood type.

Tasks:

• Analysis of literary sources on the research problem.
• Laboratory diagnosis of peripheral blood in students of West Kazakhstan Medical College with subsequent diagnosis of anemia;
• Tracing the dependence of human health on blood type.
• Identification of blood type and types of temperament (character) among students of West Kazakhstan Medical College.
• Determine the IQ of students at West Kazakhstan Medical College.

Practical significance.

For self-development and broadening your horizons, improving your health, the research conducted in this work can be used as recommendations for students and teachers.

Novelty of the research.

The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the work is the first to analyze the connection between the level of intellectual development of students and their blood type.

Chapter 1. Methodological section. Literature review.

1. Blood groups

Blood groups are a description of the individual antigenic characteristics of red blood cells, determined using methods for identifying specific groups of carbohydrates and proteins included in the membranes of red blood cells. Based on the isohemagglutination reaction, the blood group of people is determined. Depending on the presence or absence of agglutinogens A and B and agglutinins α and β, and their combinations in human blood, all humanity is divided into 4 groups. Agglutinogens and agglutinins of the same name are never found in human blood.

In people with blood group I, red blood cells do not contain agglutinogens, and the serum contains both agglutinins α and β. Blood type 1 is designated as 0 (I). The erythrocytes of people with blood group 2 contain agglutinogen A, and their serum contains agglutinin. The accepted designation is A (II).

Red blood cells of blood group 3 carry agglutinogen B, and the serum of this group contains agglutinin a. The accepted designation is B (III). People with blood type 4 have both agglutinogens A and B on the surface of their red blood cells, but their serum does not contain agglutinin. Blood group 4 is designated AB (IV). Schematically, the group affiliation of people according to the AB0 system can be represented as follows:

40% of people have blood type I, 39% have type II, 15% have type III, and 6% have type IV. Blood type is determined genetically and does not change throughout life.

1. Blood type and temperament

The nervous system is characterized by the processes of balance, excitation, inhibition and mobility, which determine the type of nervous system.

1. Sanguine emotional and has good performance. 2. Phlegmatic person calm and unperturbed.

3. Choleric characterized by frequent mood swings and increased excitability. Loves to be the center of attention.

4. Melancholic unsure of himself, anxious and suspicious.

Each temperament has its advantages and disadvantages. Leading experts on problems related to blood groups were the French psychologist Jean-Baptiste Delacour and the entire dynasty of the Nomi family. In 1971, Masahiko Nomi published the book "You are what your blood type is". It was written, according to the author, on the basis of 25 years of observations and analysis of the character traits and blood groups of well-known people. The book sold a huge circulation of 1.2 million copies. Over 30 years, 250 thousand responses were received and analyzed. Many of Toshikaka Nomi’s suggestions are recommended for use when developing team management methods. And the French psychologist Jean-Baptiste Delacour concludes: “Blood groups determine the main character traits of a person.”

According to Nomi, blood types have the following character traits:

1st group (or "0"). They are lucky, they are strong, purposeful individuals, leaders. They are enthusiasts, optimists;

2nd group (or "A"). It is difficult for them, as they pay attention to little things and details, are hardworking and diligent, calm and neat. They are great performers;

3rd group (or "B"). These are creative people. They are not patient. They have a high ability to concentrate.

4th group (or "AB"). These are dreamers. Good organizers.

Blood type and intelligence

Intelligence is the ability of the brain to organize its activities in such a way that all available information will be used with maximum efficiency.

If the level of intelligence is high enough, a person is able to intuitively make decisions that are completely acceptable for a certain situation. In addition, he has the ability to find answers to complex questions even with a very small amount of knowledge. In other words, intelligence can be represented as the efficiency of brain activity.

Neuroscientists from the University of Sheffield (UK) have proven that blood type affects brain volume. A person’s intelligence depends on their blood type. Experts came to these conclusions as a result of a large-scale study in which they scanned the brains of 189 volunteers.

Experiments have shown that people with blood type O have a larger volume of gray matter in the posterior lobe of the cerebellum. Volunteers with other blood types had smaller volumes of gray matter in the temporal and limbic regions of the brain.

As is known, over time the volume of the brain decreases, which affects a person’s mental abilities. Senile dementia is also associated with this process.

However, not all people are equally susceptible to the ravages of time. As it turned out as a result of the experiments of British scientists, people with the first blood group are able to maintain a youthful brain for a longer period.

Of course, experts do not rule out that blood type is just one of the factors that plays an important role in the development of the nervous system. It is likely that other biological mechanisms are also involved. In order to clarify the picture, a number of additional studies are necessary.

Previously, researchers at the University of Vermont (USA) found out which people are more at risk of dementia. It turned out that people with the rarest, IV blood group at an advanced age are more likely to encounter problems with memory and thinking than other people.

1. Relationship between blood type and diseases

According to literary sources, people with blood type 0(1) are much less likely than others to develop schizophrenia, regardless of the country in which they were born. And for people with blood type A, malignant tumors of the stomach and lungs are more common than others; women are more likely to have diseases of the uterus.

1. People with blood group 0 are most likely to suffer from peptic ulcers of the stomach and duodenum; they are the least predisposed to rheumatoid diseases. People with blood type A, according to the literature, are more likely to get influenza, tuberculosis, diabetes, pernicious anemia, and they are more predisposed to cardiovascular diseases and cancer. People of blood type 3 may be susceptible to diseases such as lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, and vascular sclerosis.

Chapter 2. Methodological section

Research methods

To confirm the assumption we put forward about the existing dependence of a person’s character traits, his health on a person’s blood type, as well as the possibility of a connection between the level of intellectual development of students and their blood type, we planned and conducted an experimental study, during which the following methods were used:

1. Determination of blood group using monoclonal antibodies (coliclones)
2. Questioning to identify problematic issues of students' awareness of their health.
3. Study of hemoglobin using the colorimetric hemoglobin cyanide method using equipment AGF-03/540 - Minigem and AE-30F from ERMA ING
4. Determination of temperament by testing method
5. Determination of logic problem solving IQ

In order to determine the blood groups, the students' blood was taken; for this purpose, zoliclones were used. Zoliclon is a saline solution of monoclonal antibodies to antigens located on the surface of human red blood cells. Monoclonal antibodies for coliclones are produced using hybrids, or specific strains of bacteria. Bacteria for such production are obtained using genetic engineering methods. Number of subjects: 100 people, students from groups LD-11, LD-12, SD-11, GE-21, LabD-33, 31

Indications: the need for blood transfusion, preparation for surgery.

Prepare:

1) Dry glass slide (standard plate) to determine blood group;

2) Anti-A (pink) and anti-B (blue) zoliclones, two pipettes for taking zoliclones from vials;

3) Two glass rods for mixing the patient’s blood with zoliclones;

4) Disposable syringe (5-10 ml) with a needle for drawing blood from the patient’s vein;

5) Place 3 balls moistened with alcohol, 2-3 sterile wipes, a rubber tourniquet for intravenous punctures in a sterile tray;

6) A dry centrifuge tube on which to clearly sign the patient’s name with a glass graph;

Progress:

1) Following all the rules for intravenous punctures, draw blood from the patient’s vein (at least 5 ml).

2) Anti-A and anti-B zoliclones are applied to a tablet or plate, one large drop (0.1) under the appropriate inscriptions: anti-A and anti-B.

3) Next to the drops of antibodies, the test blood is applied one small drop (0.01 ml).

4) After mixing the reagents and blood with different glass rods for anti-A and anti-B in a ratio of 1:10, the agglutination reaction is observed for 2.5 minutes.

5) Read the results after 5 minutes while stirring the drops. (from 3 to 5 minutes)

Evaluation of results:

1. In the absence of agglutination with two coliclones, blood group 0(I) is the first.

2. In the presence of agglutination with anti-A coliclone, blood group A (II) is the second.

3. In the presence of agglutination with anti-B tsoliclone, blood group B(III) is third.

4. In the presence of agglutination with two tsoliklones, blood group AB (IV) is the fourth, which must be confirmed by agglutination with anti-AB tsoliclone and the absence of nonspecific agglutination with isotonic sodium chloride solution.

1. In order to make a connection between diseases and blood type, we conducted a survey and studied the outpatient records of the students under study. The results of the study are shown in Table 3.

Taking into account the age characteristics of college students (17-25 years old), we can conclude that the studied age period of students’ lives is characterized by childhood infections and colds.

Considering that symptoms of anemia were observed among the majority of the studied student population, the research team decided to determine the level of hemoglobin in the blood. Modern diagnosis of anemia, especially among young people, is important, since anemia, even in the early stages, significantly reduces the body's performance and resistance to infections, which leads to a number of pathological changes in the body.

According to our research, among students with blood group I(0) the majority are choleric. The owners of this group are energetic, efficient, active people. Among students with blood group II(A), the most are sanguine - 38.8%, the least melancholic - 12.5%. These students show their feelings in different ways: they are a little withdrawn, quite restrained on the outside, but can be very worried inside; on the other hand, they are unbridled, impatient, quick-tempered, and prone to harshness (choleric). Many of them are sanguine, and these are cheerful, optimistic, kind people who are always ready to help. Among students with blood group III(B) the most are phlegmatic - 52.9%, the least melancholic - 8.6%. Some of them are highly emotional, while others are cold-blooded. Such people are persistent and tenacious, walking smoothly and calmly along the path of life. These are reliable people who are difficult to piss off. Among students of IV (AB) blood group, equally different types of temperaments were identified - sanguine and phlegmatic -35%, choleric - 30%. These people can be different: tactful and delicate, sharp and rude, calm and explosive. But most often they control their emotions.

To determine the level of intelligence, we used Wechsler subtests 1 and 2 to assess the level of general intellectual development. You have 30 minutes to complete the test. It is designed to provide a general assessment of intellectual ability using verbal, numerical and graphic material with a variety of ways of wording tasks for people aged 16 to 64 years.

As can be seen from Table 5 (Wechsler Intelligence Indicators), we can conclude that our college students have an average level of intelligence. The average IQ of students of all blood groups is approximately the same level.

Chapter 3. Final part

conclusions

1. Taking into account the age characteristics of college students (17-25 years old), we can conclude that the studied age period of students’ lives is characterized by childhood infections and colds. When assessing the relationship between blood group and diseases, it is necessary to take into account a whole range of factors, especially the constitution of the subject, general immunological reactivity and environmental conditions.
2. The study identified 19 people with low hemoglobin. They were given a recommendation to be examined by a therapist.
3. The results of the studies indicate the relationship between temperament and blood groups. I(0) is characterized by a choleric temperament type; for II(A) there are more sanguine people; III(B) is characterized by a phlegmatic type of temperament; for IV(AB) there are phlegmatic, sanguine and choleric people equally.
4. The study did not reveal any relationship between IQ and blood type. All studied students with different blood groups showed approximately the same result.

1. For students with the first (1) blood group, we recommend increasing meat in their diet. You need to eat sea fish and seafood. Vegetables include legumes and fruits, especially plums and figs. Students are recommended to perform physical activities that require dexterity and strength.
2. For students with the second (2) blood group, raw vegetables and fruits, seafood, and chicken are useful. Swimming, gentle walking, aerobics, cycling, and yoga are recommended.
3. Students with the third (3) blood group are characterized by strong immunity. They should eat fish, meat, dairy products, as well as liver, eggs, a variety of vegetables, and all fruits. Walking, jogging, swimming, aerobics and yoga are recommended.
4. Students of the fourth (IV) blood group have a strong immune system. Their diet should consist of fish, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, rabbit meat, turkey and lamb. Swimming, aerobics, cycling, walking, and yoga are useful.

If we in Russia are asked: “What is your zodiac sign?” - then in Japan - “What is your blood type?” According to the Japanese, blood determines the character and individual characteristics of a person to a greater extent than distant stars. Carrying out tests and recording blood type is called “ketsu-eki-gata” here and is taken very seriously.

HR managers use “ketsu-eki-gata” when hiring employees, marketing specialists use it to predict demand for intended products, and most people use it to choose friends and life partners. Devices that perform express analysis of blood group “by blood spot” are often found at train stations, department stores, and restaurants. In Japan, and recently in the United States, there are even organizations called the AB0 Society, created to help individuals and business executives make the right decisions based on blood characteristics.
